Zones of Regulation: Ask your child how they are feeling and what "zone" they are in daily. We introduced these colour zones in our class early on in the school year so they are familiar with them. By indicating what zone children are in, it helps them communicate their emotions. We always strive to be in the Green Zone or get back into the Green Zone because this is where we can work best with others and focus on learning.

Listen to this Sesame Street song about feelings we have.
Sometimes we can sing a song that makes some unknown or sad feelings become to make us happier.
Sit outside, close your eyes and listen to the sounds around you.
How was Grover feeling at the beginning of the song?
What WORD do you want to say?

"I am loved." "I am a friend." "I care for nature." "There is no one like me!" I can't wait till we see each other again! |
